Gorgeous hotel located in a lovely area just next door to local shops and pubs, also a very short distance from the Mountain Steam Railway, Antur Stiniog downhill biking centre and restaurants in the area. Booked a freshly decorated and modern room with coffee, the drinks breakfast and bath. A superb bar on site😃

Clean pet-friendly hotel with competent staff. Remote location, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Zip World Slate Caverns. So close to the valley, everything, room, breakfast and pooch, and the restaurant. Fab and delightful food for breakfast.

The hotel is dog friendly! The bed in my room was comfortable, awesome for restful nights after a long day. The historic decor, paired with local art, created a charming atmosphere I really appreciated. I also enjoyed a well-crafted beer from the bar, a good way to unwind in the evenings.

The evening dining menu felt limited, with several guests expressing dissatisfaction regarding the focus on pizza. Breakfast can get pricey considering there were complaints about the lack of variety and slow service. Some folks found rooms to be cramped, which dampened the experience a bit.

Special mention goes to the dining experience-dinner featured beautifully cooked dishes even if the menu was limited, and breakfast had a great selection that was regularly replenished. The location is fine with beautiful views, perfect for after a day of exploring the area. Just a note, it did get quite warm in the room.

The location was fine with amazing views down the valley. The room was clean, spacious, with a large screen TV and access to Netflix. Staff were really courteous and helpful (big plus!).

The bar offered an excellent selection of real ales. On the downside, Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times, and some rooms lacked proper temperature control.

Just a fitting option for a brief stopover in Blaenau Ffestiniog with high value for money. The room was clean, making it a decent spot to rest. Consider calling ahead to check the dining availability before arriving.

The budget double room was excellent and super clean. The location is amazing, right in the hills of the slate mines, with amazing views. The good bar offered a nice selection of drinks.

I enjoyed relaxing in a stylish room after a day of adventure. The mountain bike trails were excellent, with a great experience for enthusiasts like me. The breakfast menu was a bit misinterpreted, but the smash burger I had at dinner made up for it. A friendly bartender provided excellent service .
